Jermaine Carter, professionally known as J Young MDK (Million Dollar Kid), is a multi-talented rapper, singer, songwriter, DJ, actor, and director whose career spans music, film, and live entertainment. In 2020, J Young made history by releasing 50 songs in 50 weeks and became the first artist to drop two albums in one day—Aqua (R&B) and Black (Hip-Hop). His record “Let’s Go to Vegas” charted Top 50 and Top 12 on College Radio.
Beyond music, J Young has appeared in major film and television projects including All Eyez on Me, Meek Mill’s Wins & Losses, and Apple Music’s Feds Did a Sweep, while also directing for global Afrobeats star Davido.
