British-Nigerian artist J3TSY. Born Benjamin Olu-wa-ro-timi Jean-Luc Nuga in north-west London, his musical journey began in 2020, with the release of his first track, <a href="spotify:track:5jzHUOtpknvr1I4Ws900vb" data-name="crybaby">crybaby</a>. Musically, J3TSY describes himself as a genre-fluid vocalist who tries to draw from, and marry, his love of spoken word, acapella music and memorable lyrics to create songs which “make people feel things”. Whatever that means. Both inside and outside of music, he prides himself on his writing, from making his debut as a playwright-director in 2021, to the soft launch of his J3TZINE magazine, and his wider discography which includes the bouncy <a href="spotify:track:3qpcVRVTqs43PRfdALrg4v" data-name="BAYERN CELL">BAYERN CELL</a>, the more sombre, contemplative <a href="spotify:track:1GImyWkjQWwiqFe3SMj5gk" data-name="crisp mess">crisp mess</a>, and the heartfelt <a href="spotify:track:5utPrUZV57Bo0oePXkVDNi" data-name="thx">thx</a>.
