From the sun-baked streets of Albuquerque, New Mexico, rises J5 Slap, a rock & roll force of nature reborn. What began in 2015 as a fascination with rhythm and sound evolved into an obsession, first manifesting in the world of rap music. He honed his craft as a beat maker, eventually becoming a music producer by 2017.
Driven by a relentless passion, J5 Slap mastered the art of audio engineering, graduating from CRAS in 2019. That same year, he unleashed his debut album, King of the Underground. While his early days were rooted in hip-hop, he felt a deeper calling. Now, he's returned to his true passion, leaving behind the rap scene to embrace the visceral energy of rock.
With seven albums and a slew of electrifying singles, J5 Slap has amassed a loyal following and a colossal catalog. His sound is a powerful blend of influences, drawing from the rebellious spirit of classic 90s alternative rock and the soulful, timeless melodies of 50s and 60s rock & roll. J5 Slap's music is a testament to an artist who has found his true voice and continues to rise, one thunderous riff at a time.
