J.A. Allen has been playing guitar since the age of 6. “I had a guitar my Dad gave me, it
was not a Dean, but it was an electric, and I loved it, plus he got me one of those big 2x15
Standell amps, and it was awesome, didn’t know how to play yet, but got a few chords
and away we went!” As a teen, J.A. was in numerous small bands, and it wasn’t until he
turned 21 that he decided to take things more serious. “I was not actually finding anyone
where I grew up, who wanted to take it seriously like I wanted, but that changed after I
was old enough to get into the clubs”.
Now, J.A. is out on his own, and ready to release his first album, VoV “Vampire of
Vaudeville”. A fully pro-aggressive instrumental album from left field......!
“I am older now, and so, this is the real deal for me, I have worked really hard to make it
something I can really love, and want to share with the world, hopefully (laughs), My
only dream has been to have something for myself, and if others really dig it, and get the
groove and visions of the songs, well, man, that’s worth all the work and money it went
through! The new VoV II Album is being recorded, and will be out in the near future.
