Jabu are a three piece band from Bristol made up of Jasmine Butt (vocals / guitar), Alex Rendall (vocals / keys) and Amos Childs (producer / bassist).
Their music is influenced by shoegaze, soul and UK underground music - from lovers rock to jungle and hardcore. Their live show involves dubbed / alternate versions of their material as well as new + in progress songs/sketches, all run through their mixing desk and chain of effects.
They have released 2 albums, Sleep Heavy (Blackest Ever Black, 2017) and Sweet Company (Do You Have Peace? 2020) as well as a handful of mixtapes & singles via NoCorner, Ramp & their own Do You Have Peace? imprint.
Their 3rd album 'A Soft and Gatherable Star' is out from 18/10/24 via Do You Have Peace?
