Jac Aranda has been writing music alone and with others for about a decade. The longest running of these projects is LA's (sort of) Media Jeweler, in which Jac plays guitar. In 2018, Media Jeweler went on a US tour and contemplated more affordable places to live. Shortly after, the band dispersed to different locations that had been discussed. Jac went to Omaha. About 6 months after the split, the band met up in Omaha to record a new record and tour. Before, during, and after this, Jac was working on the record No One, now being released via Anxiety Blanket Records digitally and on cassette.
