Jace & Chon, an indie R&B/Pop duo from Dumaguete City. Both Jace & Chon are avid fans of R&B music. Their influences are Taylor Swift, Conan Gray, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, James Reid, Raveena, Paramore and Halsey.
MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Chon grew up in the town of Valencia, Negros Oriental and has been singing since she was a small girl. She was a church choir member during her high school days and has participated in local singing contests. Jace, on the other hand, has been obsessed in learning how to play instruments when she was transitioning into high school. Jace can play the guitar, piano, and ukulele. She is part of a local band (Eldora) in Dumaguete City wherein she plays the role of a guitarist and keyboardist, and also writes some of the band's songs.
Jace and Chon met in 11th grade, and have been collaborating ever since. They have only recently decided (in 2021) to open their own YouTube channel to share videos of them doing song covers and singing their original compositions. They aspire to become known for their music and as artists who are passionate about every project they do. They hope to make a difference and lift up OPM into an international scale.
