Jack Boro

I’m Jack Boro, a DJ and music producer originally from Genova, now based in London. My roots are in funk and hip hop. That’s the music I grew up with, the culture that first got me digging for vinyl, chopping samples, and playing parties in my hometown.

Over the years I played everything from club nights to dance battles, and one of the biggest moments early on was opening for a Monster Energy Motocross event in Genova where over 16,000 people attended. That experience gave me the drive to keep going and take things further.

Since moving to London in 2017 I’ve been building a new chapter shaped by the city’s underground house scene. I slowly transitioned from hip hop into house, blending the groove, rhythm and rawness I’ve always loved with deeper, more percussive club sounds.

Now I’m studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and DJ Performance at Point Blank Music School, refining my technical skills in the studio while staying active as a performer. I’ve played at some of London’s best known venues including Fabric, Cargo, Ministry of Sound, Trapeze and BoxPark, and I’ve been a resident DJ for boat parties and weekend events across the city.

My release Mercenario is out now, bringing together house grooves and playful Latin flute. More original tracks are coming soon.
