Jack Devaney

Jack Devaney is a Brighton born, Germany based singer-songwriter making 60s inspired indie folk and rock music. A lover of harmonies, strong melodic hooks, and out-of-the-box production styles.

Jack started playing guitar at the tender age of 10 before giving up when the other kids in the class picked on him. Then he started playing keys at 14 before stealing his dad's guitar.

Since then he's been writing and recording in his room consistently. Ever the perfectionist, he didn't release anything on streaming platforms until one day, on a train journey from Cornwall to London he filmed a picturesque view of the sea and villages passing by. He knew he wanted it to be a music video but didn't have a song to go with it. After rifling through his song folder he landed on "When You Come Home" as the perfect companion-piece to the video he shot after visiting his Nan.

Jack is currently working on a new album set for release in early 2021 with a fresh sound combining his passion for 60s nostalgia with folky passages à la Fleet Foxes, Pixies inspired Rock instrumentals and broken synth and guitar sounds in the vein of Mac DeMarco.
