Jack Ellis and The Contraband are a brand new electrifying rock and roll outfit bursting into the music scene. Hailing from South Wales and now based in Normandy, France, you can expect to hear compelling gritty guitar tones, tight thumping dynamic rhythm and bass with soaring raw emotional vocals binding storytelling lyrics and melodies.

Jack Ellis is a Welsh solo artist who gained national exposure with his first two singles hitting BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing Wales, Radio X and a requested live session on Dermot O'Leary's BBC 2 show next to Duran Duran and Biffy Clyro.

Since arriving in Normandy France Jack has found his dream team of musicians to compliment his songwriting and stage performance. With a packed out calendar expect to see Jack and The Contraband touring France through August, Italy in September and UK in October/November.
