Jack Frohlich

Jack Frohlich is a Birmingham based artist who encapsulates what it means to be a young adult. His playful lyrics represent serious issues that many teenagers face in todays world, which are accompanied by exciting melodies and interesting chord progressions, inspired by Jack’s long love for Jazz and indie rock.


In 2019, Jack released his first EP <a href="spotify:album:4APpQYi10kUQKYUmSeaxfZ" data-name="The Illustrations">The Illustrations</a> which took a more mellow approach musically, to the serious conversation of mental health. This was followed by his most streamed song to date <a href="spotify:album:4OKwXgny9KEdzyx8ptqhTr" data-name="Doom Bar (The Bedroom Tape)">Doom Bar (The Bedroom Tape)</a> which took a much more light hearted approach in its writing, while still touching on heavier topics like the fear of the ‘next chapter’ in Jack’s life.


Tracks from his latest EP <a href="spotify:album:4dweZbFyAj2LrgU6vaFyVM" data-name="Silver Going Grey">Silver Going Grey</a> have been called ‘a plateful of gorgeous, jangly sounds’ and are an ode to Jack’s love of indie music. Delving in to melodic guitar lines, they express fears and struggles Jack has experienced growing up, from a teenager, to an adult. Both singles from the EP <a href="spotify:album:64767byhrmHMdeOz65qzCI" data-name="Superhero">Superhero</a> and <a href="spotify:album:7xLeRmWyOjYByNW2NGcNrd" data-name="School Boy">School Boy</a> have received major attention from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio UK and US, with School Boy reaching number 19 on the Amazing Radio US charts.
