Jack Marton

Solo acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter Jack Marton was born in Venice (Italy) and thanks to his parents’ line of work he grew up around Europe, ending up attending a catholic school where he studied with American teachers who exposed him to traditional americana music, then he moved to California to complete his schooling.

In those years he picked up a unique accent by blending several linguistic influences.

His musical style includes folk and neo-mellow influences, refined over the years by listening to good music on the turntable and playing old acoustic guitars without ever stopping, drawing inspiration from the world around him.

In 2016 his talent was discovered by LA based world-class producer Marino De Angeli who initiated recording sessions together with Marton, a select group of other musicians and an old Neve console. In September 2018 his first self-titled EP was released and had a very positive reception from the public and critics.

The next productions are getting a stellar line up and guests including percussionist <a href="spotify:artist:6JJAbURiO90Bk8k55qMWTG" data-name="Adam Topol">Adam Topol</a> and singer-songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:6CQrZZn0g2ZNfIcXbi4pdo" data-name="Mason Jennings">Mason Jennings</a>, helping him to create a sound that floats like a bridge between Europe and the US.
