Jack Mensa

I moved to Denmark at 17, and like so many young men before me, I was chasing a girl. I’ve always been a romantic at heart but like so many other young love stories, this one ended in heartbreak.
Although the love didn’t last this move put me on a new path and out of curiosity, naiveness and a little rebellion I decided to stick around. Now it’s been 8 years and I’m still here.
When I was younger, I didn’t fit into any particular group. I was the kind of boy who everyone knew but no one really knew me, which pushed me towards what turned out to be a great friendship with my old hand me down piano. I would sit for hours playing and teaching myself new things, until I found something I loved. Fast forward to a little over a year ago now, I lost my job at Sonos in covid. It was a difficult time, I thought that job was going to get me somewhere further in the world of sound and music. Two weeks later I get a message from Alexander from Turino Studio, it was like music to my ears (pun intended). Alexander and I had an instant connection and it felt like fate, not only do we work effortlessly together, but the brotherly friendship we’ve developed is something I didn’t expect. Out of this the “Jack Mensa Project” was born and for the past year we’ve continued to grow and nurture it, and now here we are.
