It took ten years for Jack Flanagan to go public. Throughout this decade, Flanagan's progress was hampered by fate's interventions and his own insecurities, so that exciting projects were stop started and brilliant songs were parked on laptops. To keep playing music he joined Mystery Jets as their bassist where he honed the musical craft. By the end of the 2020 he was in conversation with Jamie Hince of The Kills and was plotting to remotely create a record. Once again fate intervened and Jamie broke both his heels saving his dog from a coyote attack. Thanks to Hince’s encouragement - Jack decided he was ready to create something himself. With new clarity he learnt how to self produce and set about playing all the instruments on this record himself. Everything City is the first offering from this batch of songs.
