A songwriter honing his craft just outside of Edinburgh, Jack Stark's intimate blend of indie and folk sensibilities is enough to create a window for any listener into the self-conscious experience he finds himself in as part of his writing process. A distinctive baritone voice takes centre stage throughout his first track "As Feathers" and can be compared to Matthew and the Atlas' Matt Hegarty. Jack explains, “This first single is about having to let go of something special, especially if you feel as if it’s become such a huge part of you. If it means becoming who you’re really meant to be, I think the idea is not to feel contained by a relationship and sometimes you have to walk away from something you felt was actually going to stick around for some time". Jack continues to further assemble his carefully crafted blends of endearing indie-folk with ‘As Feathers’ only being the first track he plans to release
