Jack Zhoul’s music oscillates between pop and rock. Embedded in a modern, carefully crafted soundscape based on characterful guitars, driving synthesizers and heavy, in-your-face grooves, Jack lays down vocal arrangements and melodies that are hard to get out of your head once you’ve heard them.
When the Zurich, Switzerland, native first started making music as a 15-year-old, it was primarily within his own four walls, with no audience but his own reflection in the mirror. After working mostly as an acoustic solo artist for most of his early days, Jack Zhoul used the pandemic years to collaborate with his good friend and producer <a href="spotify:artist:3vNvDQzQBtpW9patj7mXXa" data-name="Carlo Menet">Carlo Menet</a> and record his debut EP "<a href="spotify:album:5WzNqYaKZb41MMxrUFFk8J" data-name="Heart in Mind">Heart in Mind</a>", featuring the radio singles "<a href="spotify:track:4UqeextQJVzI8Clz1rvEKu" data-name="Dreams">Dreams</a>" and "<a href="spotify:track:0Ub8mPBxh5WWBHBeqUXJXE" data-name="Up">Up</a>".
With the two finding their musical identity more and more, they began the process of recording new music, embracing a heavier approach while still holding space for intimate, quiter moments. For the new project, renowned producer Benji Alasu (<a href="spotify:artist:149gSkst4bm3PyT2CR7lht" data-name="Luca Aprile">Luca Aprile</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5gMKfeiCXcEjRQn6cfQnxD" data-name="Gloria Amelia">Gloria Amelia</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6H54MC0LiueYOlL3lKLb4r" data-name="Caroline Alves">Caroline Alves</a>) joined the fold and produced on several of the new songs. After a couple of singles, the Zurich band released their sophomore EP "Of High Hopes & Sinners" in 2024, featuring the lead singles "Higher" and "Look at Me Now".
