American Songwriter has praised Jackie for “crafting some of the most beautiful, compelling Americana today.”
Her restless wanderlust has shaped five previous albums: Thirsty (2002), Crazy Love (2007), Freedom (2010), Shot of Gold (2015), and Outsider (2022). Now, she steps into a new chapter with her sixth album, Goldmine. The lead single, “Let It Rain,” marks a first-ever recorded duet with her sister, Katrina Bristow. The sisters spent a decade touring, performing together in their youth as The Bristow Sisters. “Let It Rain” is co-written with acclaimed California singer-songwriter Rosa Pullman , a longtime friend from Jackie’s Los Angeles days.
Jackie’s music has appeared in major film and television placements including Europhia, Young Sheldon, Kevin Can F**k Himself, The Brokenwood Mysteries resonating on screen as powerfully as it does on stage.
“I’m not 25 anymore,” Jackie says. “I’ve got experience — in life and in the industry. I love writing songs and sharing my stories, and I always want to keep the innocence alive.”
