Jackie Rae is a singer-songwriter based in Richmond, VA. Jackie is an unapologetic trans woman, who candidly shares her story through music. She tackles subjects like confusion over identity, dating as a trans person, the importance of family, and reclaiming power through confidence. As a student at Berklee College of Music from 2017-2019, Jackie made connections with musicians and producers who helped make her vision of trans-inclusive music a reality. She recorded several singles with Berklee graduate and producer Sarah Meyz in the summer of 2019 while living in Boston. Meyz recorded, edited, and mixed, and Ricardo Cecchi handled the mastering.
