I have been playing the piano for the most of my life since I was a kid. In 1998 I graduated from The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, and for the next many years, I have played or toured fulltime with bands, different solists, symphony orchestras, choirs or all kinds of shows.
I love many different kinds of music, but always doing new stuff, I experienced a gradually loss in my own emotional connection to music. I needed to reconnect, and over a couple of years I mainly focused on arranging and composing. I wanted to get back to a more honest and authentic expression, and the result became my first album in my own name. “Melancholy” released in 2019.
"Short Stories" became the second album and was released in 2021. It is still the same vibe, though I do explore more joyful dimensions. That album features 16 solo piano tracks recorded on a fantastic Bösendorfer Concert Grand 280VC.
