Jacobo Sainz is a singer, guitarist and a songwriter born in Pontevedra, Spain, in 1995.
He stands out for his honest lyrics with a clean voice and brilliant instrumentals in his music.
This year he returns after a long time involved in other artists’ projects. His new music, with a new sound, brings us more energy, more outstanding electric guitars, and above all much more musical maturity.
He started this solo journey in 2019 with his first EP "City Lights", with a singer-songwriter sound due to his strong British pop-rock influences at the time. In 2020 he released a new song called "Rescue Me".
At the moment he has just released his latest single "High" (2024), which is an evolution of "City Lights" (2019) mixing it with American rock, blues and country sounds.
He achieved great recognitions receiving "Best Live" and "Best Hard-Rock Band" at the 2014 Pontevedra Ferve Awards with his former project, Vörtex (2011-2018). Years later a remarkable nomination at the Martín Códax Awards as "Best Hard-Rock Band" with Vörtex as well.
In his short career, he himself highlights his concert opening his city's festivals in front of 8,000 people as one of his most special moments, as well as playing at the Resurrection Fest, or being invited in 2018 by the prestigious Canadian band NICKELBACK to play with them in their only show in Spain to date.
He continues to work on his new music which he plans to release throughout 2025.
