Jacqueline Rae was born and raised in Minnesota, though she likes to say “LA raised me”. She spent 10 years living in Venice Beach, CA pursuing music, acting and modeling. The past few years she has been playing music all over Mexico and currently lives in a beautiful yet small little surf town there. She grew up in the arts and has 25 musicals and theatrical productions under her belt. She went to a small vocal jazz program for two years in Iowa where she studied piano and vocal jazz, classical and opera music.
Her close friends refer to her as the "Hippie version of Taylor Swift" because she has written so many songs referencing her “poor choice in men” and has used those heart breaks to fuel her artistic inspiration. Jacqueline's goal with music has nothing to do with money or recognition. The dream is to make music that moves people, tells a story that others can relate to and speaks to the heart. She truly believes music can change the world.
