Named for British slang meaning "ready to go, " Jact consists of vocalist/guitarist Andy Frank, guitarist Ted Hutt, bassist Jeff Peters and drummer C.J.Eriksson. The group formed when <a href="spotify:artist:0zZ0mAYHEpvcrfHYI2otYV">Frank</a> and Hutt met in London after the breakups of <a href="spotify:artist:0zZ0mAYHEpvcrfHYI2otYV">Frank</a>'s previous group Pusherman and Hutt's band Reacharound. Connecting musically and personally, the pair returned to Hutt's new homebase of L.A. to continue writing songs together. Hutt's former bandmate <a href="spotify:artist:1lIG8lqWxus7LqThGUXMa1">Peters</a> joined them soon after, and with the addition of Vancouver native Eriksson, the band was complete.
