New York City is so familiar on so many levels, it almost feels like home, we are subjected to its imagery from birth, we grow up watching its streets, its people, yellow cabs, steam vents, the music, the photography, the fashion, the hot dog stands, the take out boxes and pizza slices. Sometimes you need to travel to distant places to capture that feeling of home that you may have lost in a person or in life, sometimes you need to travel thousands of miles to realise that feeling of home that had been missing in your life, was right next to you the whole time." 'NYC' is the latest single from three piece alt-rock band Jacuzzi Mansion, it explores the feeling of loneliness, idle feelings of maturity and adulthood in an alien city. Jacuzzi Mansion consists of William James on guitar and vocals, Jack Bicknel on bass guitar and Daniel Lane on drums, they met in secondary school in their home town of Monmouth, in South Wales UK. Playing gigs around London Jacuzzi Mansion blend their blues and hard rock influences with frenetic drums, hard hitting riffs and raw vocals .
