Canadian-American recording artist Jade Elektra is originally from Tampa, Florida but her music was born in the Queer Black dance clubs of NYC in the 1990s.

Post-Paris Is Burning underground ballroom house classics like Bitch You Look Fierce, Why Are You Gagging, What-Evah, She Turns It, This Is What We Call A Bitch Track and You Bettah Feel It were first heard at Harmonica Sunbeam's in/famous Sunbeam Sundays tea dance at Escuelita nightclub, followed by The Hangar, Two Potato, The Warehouse, The Limelight, Palladium, Barracuda, The Works, The Break and wherever else Jade's alter-ego DJ Relentless might be spinning.

Prior to 2022, most of Jade’s early ballroom house tracks were only available on Relentlessly Cunty compilation CDs, (aka The Bible of Bitch Tracks) sold exclusively at Rebel Rebel Records on Bleecker Street, or directly from DJ Relentless himself.

FOUR of these early classics are now available on Spotify on the digital compilation album Legendary, Darling!

Jade Elektra resides in Toronto, Canada and is currently signed with iUnderground Records (New York), and has additional music on Trax Records (Chicago), Ber’lin Records (New York), Vidon Music (Brussels), Sound Grove (Boston), Supa Qween (Minneapolis), Posse Up Records, Aviance Records (New York) and more.

Official profiles can be found on Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, Mixcloud, Queer Music Heritage, Wikipedia and YouTube.
