JaeBoy, born Jason Riley Addington in Blue Ridge, Texas, is an emerging rapper and producer whose music often explores deeply personal themes rooted in his upbringing. He grew up with parents struggling with addiction, a challenge that significantly shaped his life and inspired his music. This experience is the focus of his album I'm Fine, a raw project that took several years to complete due to its intense subject matter. On it, JaeBoy shares his struggles with the hope of reaching listeners who may have faced similar hardships. Despite his tough start, his parents eventually overcame their addictions, allowing the family to rebuild relationships, and JaeBoy credits his music as a form of self-therapy that helped him through difficult times.

Starting out with a love for guitar and later finding a passion for beatboxing, JaeBoy honed his musical skills in high school, where he began producing his own tracks. His debut singles like “Moonset” and “Super Saiyan Jae” showcased his energetic style and garnered attention in the hip-hop community. His artistry is influenced by Logic and other contemporary artists, and he is currently developing his sound as an independent artist in collaboration with TRND Music, based in Fort Worth, Texas.
