Jaeden Schaan is a musician based out of Fargo, ND. He has recently released his first studio album, 'Withdrawal' which is a unique mix of genres ranging from Acoustic Pop to a more modern Alternative Rock.
"I titled the EP, 'Withdrawal' because the definition of the word can be so diverse. This album is truly about the stages of falling both in and out of love, and I think that anytime someone loses something, it takes a bit of time to recover from that thing they once held dear. It can be painful yet rewarding at the same time."
Passionate lyrics and engaging stories is just one aspect to Jaeden's music. Simple or complex, the instrumentals play as big of a part to each song as the words. For this EP, Jaeden recruited a few other talented musicians to help him create the full sound he was looking for.
"I honestly couldn't have made any of this if it wasn't for Chris Schuster. I came to him with five songs, and all they consisted of were vocals and acoustic guitar. We sat down and just sort of fed off of each other and he shot out idea after idea, and eventually everything was filled in. We needed someone to play drums so we actually asked his younger brother Dan Schuster if he'd be willing to play, and then asked one of his other friends Grant Christianson if he'd be willing to play bass. I really wanted everyone to just be creative and it all really worked out!"
