Jacquine Galetta who goes by "JaeRsa" comes from a music orientated coloured family. A family with not only musical gifts, but a strong passion for music.
His journey and passion for music started at a very young age during primary school where he showcased his passion and performed live, more so, during high school. He soon after started writing his own music and experimented with instruments, the recording process and ultimately music production.
In 2020, he released his first singles "Thank God", "CallOutMyName" followed by "Selfish" on YouTube. In 2023 however, he produced and officially released his first album "I'm On It" in collaboration with Vinnie Raps. He also showcased his artistry on songs such as "Rhythm and Juice" etc. It was during this time where JaeRsa's music career kicked off. He continues to work with local artists such as Vinnie Raps, Lee. M, whilst also collaborating and working with international upcoming artists.
Currently, he's production style incorporates a range of genres including Hiphop, Afropop, Pop, Amapiano, R&B. He continues to musically break down boundaries allowing for creativity, this is, by producing and "cooking up" sounds that carries meaning, a message and healing.
