Coming out of quarantine and a year of isolation, back into open spaces, CAN'T TELL ME NOTHIN pays respect to SAN FRANCISCO & THE BAY AREA where Jaewynn is originally from. CTMN is energetic and draws from sounds and lyrics she grew up listening to that are woven into the fabric of her being. As she enters motherhood, Jaewynn felt it was important to pay homage to her roots and create a song that drove energy, happiness and pride back into the physical world.
Jaewynn aims to perpetuate the fact that the voices of black & queer poc need to be heard, empowered & celebrated, always.
