Jahson

Born and grew up in South East London to hardworking Jamaican parents, Jahson (Jason Nembhard) experienced all the joys and twists of growing up in London with the beauty of a diverse musical culture and education. Jahson loves music and the effects it has in the whole social development and coordination of the world. To Jahson, it is such an influence over our happiness.

Gratefully, Jahson has performed with The Drifters for five years with Johnny Moore thanks to his friend Navi and Faye Treadwell (Former Manager and Brand Owner of The Drifters). Jahson then went solo and worked for a year getting his P.A. System, developing his solo show and acquiring agent representation. During this time, Jahson also wrote and co-wrote his album with Alan Glass who is an amazing mentor, songwriter and producer.

Jahson released his single "Gimme Gimme" then over a year later his first album “Artistic Licence” which was released in 2010 under Hurricane Music and aggregated by The Orchard. This embodied his developing skills and the freedom to write a record with the outcome he wanted to get. There are a variety of vibrant songs to suit most musical tastes and to this day he is really proud of that creation.
