In their now 12-year band history, the rock band Jail Job Eve has earned recognition and is now synonymous with both hard
and demanding rock.
Their previous releases "Bird of Passage" (2015), "The Mission" (2018) and "Wildfire" (2021) have convinced the music press across Europe, earning the five-piece band titles such as "hope for the national blues rock scene"
(Eclipsed Magazine) and "a rock machine that has always worked fantastically together live" (Rockblog Bluesspot).
At the forefront, vocal virtuoso Victoria Semel shines, combining classical rock attitude with seductive, operatic, and sometimes even
oriental influences for truly unique vocal performances. Creative and yet deeply rooted in rock tradition, Tim Beckers (bass) and Josef Röhner (drums) hammer out aggressive grooves that serve as the foundation and playground for the razor-sharp guitar sounds of Benedikt Schlereth and the occasionally riotous, authentically swampy-sounding Hammond organ of Jens Niemann.
With their current release the five take a step further, becoming more experimental and expansive, and, as usual, it was recorded live in the studio, creating goosebumps that sneak under the skin.
