Canadian singer and songwriter, JAIoftheRise melds music influenced by various genres ranging from R&B, pop, hip-hop, and rap. Drawing melodies from his South Indian heritage he fuses Indian/Punjabi styles with western music to create stand-out records that speak to people from all walks of life. Jai released his debut EP, “Into the Gentle Night” in 2019 following the success of his leading single called “Save No Soul”. With traces of grungy chords and synths sprinkled on top of the trap-like beat, the record set a precedent for Jai’s creative pursuit within the industry. Since then, he has had an array of notable records such as “Poison”, “Do you Right”, and “Situationship” that captured the attention of fans all over the world. Over a short period of time, Jai has amassed some huge collaborations, his single, “Baby Girl” with Turkish house music producer <a href="spotify:artist:0ZRQKFaYGEtbLc8NbyICoe" data-name="Deeperise">Deeperise</a> charted on Turkey’s Official Music Chart Top 50 and “Hopscotch” with Toronto native <a href="spotify:artist:6FXCc0FAXCsG2WFR1plJjx" data-name="Lil Berete">Lil Berete</a> which became a city anthem. After gaining popularity, “Hopscotch” went on to get picked up by <a href="spotify:artist:4PCeJ2EIn3YtzYYRsHHWyy" data-name="GRM Daily">GRM Daily</a> with an official music video release. Shining light on Jai’s performances, one gem that stands out is when he opened for late legend, <a href="spotify:artist:0eDvMgVFoNV3TpwtrVCoTj" data-name="Pop Smoke">Pop Smoke</a>. Co-headlining the show at Van Gogh Nightclub in Waterbury, Connecticut, that show would go on to become a night to remember. Releasing his latest single Toxic, Jai looks to welcome fans into the next chapter of his pursuit of breaking all boundaries in music and life alike.
