Jäjé

Jäjé is a multidisciplinary artist, born in Trinidad and raised in the city of Toronto. As a professionally trained dancer, actor, singer and poet Jäjé's work ranges from film & television to numerous staged productions and live performances. Jäjé's art showcases her unique perspective, stemming in part from her Trinidadian heritage coupled with her artistic capabilities within each discipline, allowing for an intriguing intersection of various avenues of creativity. Her entry into the performance arts began at the tender age of 3, under the tutelage of the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre. Since Jäjé has gone on to participate in Honey Jam, productions such as The Journey and has graced the stages of the Mod Club, El Mocambo, Phoenix Concert Theatre with Flo.93.5, the City-View Drive-In for Manifesto15 and TIFF on their Slaight Music stage.
