Jake Christian is an artist from Proctorville, Ohio who is gaining a growing reputation as a pop artist. Not bound to one genre, Jake takes influence from funk, soul, hip hop, indie, rock, and pop. A student of all music, Jake studies the greats. At age 7, he would sing Elvis and Michael Jackson songs for family and friends, and then go onto post cover videos on YouTube. By 13, he started writing his own music, and learning how to produce. He then went on to releasing mixtapes and self produced albums. He continued his work in solo performances, festivals, and school events. By, 22 he finally laid the groundwork of understanding who he is as an artist, and still has a long journey ahead of making great music.
