An Adelaide based rock group led by vocalist and guitarist Jake Daulby, the Jake Daulby Band blurs the lines of various genres to create a cinematic, psychedelic, post-rock experience that will have audiences singing along and grooving (think Kings Of Leon meets Pink Floyd meets The Weeknd meets Massive Attack).
Teaming up with drummer, Anthony Sherwood (<a href="spotify:artist:6z5XnyN89awObELCfxlrHP" data-name="The Skeleton Club">The Skeleton Club</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1cFD16ZxSPbgxpgZvbsHrk" data-name="Dojo Rise">Dojo Rise</a>) and bassist, Declan Horan. This trio uses expert musicianship and story-telling to paint abstract sonic soundscapes whilst keeping listeners grounded with solid rhythm and groove.
Jake earned an underground cult following around Adelaide with Hard Rock outfit, <a href="spotify:artist:7JW8sZC7QsTjdxMp1MlUJI" data-name="Fell At Ten">Fell At Ten</a> . Their melodic catchy melodies teamed up with hard-hitting riffs and progressive metal influences built a reputation within Adelaide’s Hard Rock and Metal Scene that still gets them air play on Local Radio Stations.
Armed with an acoustic guitar, a stomp box and his voice, Daulby has cut his teeth performing covers around the country in pubs, clubs and busking circuits since 2008. Earning himself the title of “Mash-Up Master” to anyone who has had the pleasure of listening to him. Jake and his band have also built a solid reputation on YouTube with their show “One Take With Jake” where they perform covers and mash-ups of hit songs.
2018 saw Jake make it to the Top 100 of The Voice, where his audition of Kaleo’s hit “Way Down We Go” was aired and saw him receive even more glowing reviews from the nation.
