In 2020, the honest songwriter debuted his first full LP, <a href="spotify:track:6N32YMZAl7PvXFIuqilw7g" data-name="Pipe Dreams">Pipe Dreams</a>, having 3 Bandcamp EP’s behind him, along with key performances over the last few years at Canadian Music Week, Summerfolk Music Festival, and a finalist award from RBC’s Emerging Artist program.


With a sound reminiscent of <a href="spotify:artist:0hEurMDQu99nJRq8pTxO14" data-name="John Mayer">John Mayer</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5schNIzWdI9gJ1QRK8SBnc" data-name="Ben Howard">Ben Howard</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:3GBPw9NK25X1Wt2OUvOwY3" data-name="Jack Johnson">Jack Johnson</a>, the self-taught guitarist shares his chops and campfire vocals at intimate performances in and around Toronto, finding that a yearning for “sad-yet-hopeful&#34; songs, is alive and well.


Jake has spent the last while meticulously recording and carving out his sound. The album subtly taken cues from <a href="spotify:artist:4LEiUm1SRbFMgfqnQTwUbQ" data-name="Bon Iver">Bon Iver</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:2h93pZq0e7k5yf4dywlkpM" data-name="Frank Ocean">Frank Ocean</a>, evolving from folk to alternative in a distinct fashion.
