Hailing from Chicago- where Jake spent years honing his craft, he first appeared on listener's radars with his <a href="spotify:album:1w17MLBrBO7CE2wHo3Lo3h" data-name="Lonely Nights">Lonely Nights</a> EP. Jake then began releasing a slew of singles- the first being "<a href="spotify:album:5DylHQABjinEpV2yhqeHkf" data-name="Champagne">Champagne</a>" which caught the attention of Chicago-based independent record label Palettes (home to Jake's now frequent collaborators <a href="spotify:artist:3bfT2u8Dz3hoSDvSZ8KyqH" data-name="Boy Sim">Boy Sim</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:0iV4UAD683ZDnqSHhshF9x" data-name="Holliday Howe">Holliday Howe</a>). Jake's first release through Palettes was "<a href="spotify:album:1tPGPcPQxCJE0tObhI4qRV" data-name="Peach Emoji">Peach Emoji</a>", a collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:3bfT2u8Dz3hoSDvSZ8KyqH" data-name="Boy Sim">Boy Sim</a>. Jake entered 2019 with a bang releasing "<a href="spotify:album:6xVUGTzlJLgdsxxnMBupAT" data-name="Cavity">Cavity</a>" (featuring <a href="spotify:artist:7mUQPmZ6OzwtJEEXDOqyOY" data-name="That Kid">That Kid</a>).
