Playing in bands that were inspired by acts like Death Cab for Cutie, Interpol, The Shins, Broken Social Scene, Band of Horses and now as a solo artist drawing on influences from Nick Drake to Neil Young and Bob Dylan. His music has a bittersweet warmth, intimacy and directness that focuses on song craft, melodicism and stripped-back instrumentation.
