Jake Ryan is a singer-songwriter blending classic soft rock with heartfelt storytelling. Born in Boston, MA and raised in the UK, his music focuses on two worlds looking at melody, groove, and a deep passion for thought-provoking songwriting.
Jake’s love for music began in his childhood, long before his first song release. He would steal his father’s phone to record his earliest song ideas, experimenting with sounds and rhythms. His fascination with beatboxing soon evolved into a love for drums, and he spent his Sundays playing hand bells at his local church.
From there, he discovered the piano; an instrument that became his creative anchor. By the age of 12, he was already composing his own pieces by ear.
Jake first found his voice not behind a microphone, but behind a keyboard, writing album reviews and studying what made great music great. That criticism soon became his own creation. His first project, Eureka, was recorded entirely on an iPhone with just a piano and his own voice.
Now with his debut studio album, 'Blind', Jake brings together everything that’s shaped him so far, drawing influences from legendary icons such as The Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, and much more. His songs perfectly blend genres such as Piano-Rock, Jazz-Rock, Singer-Songwriter and so much more, to help create the unique sound of Jake Ryan.
