Jake Schultz is a multi-instrumentalist based in the Twin Cities. Growing up, he predominantly focused on playing rock and metal but was heavily influenced by the guitar sound of the 80s. Playing in various bands throughout the years and being exposed to all sorts of music, the now 23 year old is heavily influenced by jazz, shoegaze, indie, and metal. His 2019 release, "Time", is a collection of 4 instrumental songs leaning into these influences. Now joining forces with Annie Thoma of Killed by Kiwis for their new EP, "A Taste of Blue", releasing July 12th, it's a natural progression of the influences over the years and what he considers his best work to date.
