Jake Zyrus is an international singing sensation who got his big break in 2008 appearing on the Ellen Degeneres and Oprah Winfrey show. Other major accolades throughout the years include: performing with Celine Dion, being the first Asian artist to break the top 10 of the Billboard 200, appearing on Glee, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and several world tours and singing events as a solo act and alongside major artists including David Foster, Neyo, Mariah Carey, Andrea Bocelli and more. Jake came out as a transman in 2017 and proceeded to break through the international scene being recognized as an LGBTQ+ icon featured on Forbes 30 under 30, Emmy Nomination for documentary Jake and Charice, and 2022 GQ magazine features. He hopes to continue his work within the music industry to break barriers and the stigma that many queer transgender Asian Pacific Islander identifying individuals face through sharing his narrative through music and storytelling.
