Jakeb Daniel

Jakeb Daniel is an original artist/singer songwriter who grew up in the town of Cobourg, ON Canada. Stylistically, his music is a mix of indie, folk & pop with lyrical influences of the great Americana song writers & poets. A prolific song writer, proficient in multiple instruments (guitar, piano & ukulele). He starting playing guitar at 7 and has been singing from an even earlier age. He is ear trained & self taught on the piano. Jakeb enjoy performing his original music his original music in all forms of community venues. He released his first, 6 song EP in 2017 titled “Dime Light”. In 2019 released 3 singles including “Ghost”, “Moon Cycles” & “Auditorium”. “Ogres Are Like Onions” was issued in 2020 & in 2021 he has put “New Year” on January 1st & his latest single “Lord Have Mercy” February. These recordings demonstrate Jakeb’s strengths as a composer, great sense of dynamics, vocal dexterity & musicianship. “Slow Day” off his EP “Dime Light” was turned into a charming, family inspired, lyrical music video featuring footage from his childhood with many relatives as guest appearances.
