The Alabama native Jalen Kelly is a breath of fresh air to the culture. He started on the music scene in 2015 with his mixtape “The Shift” gaining the attention of Joey Bada$$ , Dillon Cooper & Ghostface Killah. He would then go on to drop his next single “Everybody Wanna Be Rich” which sampled the infamous “C.R.E.A.M” by The Wu-Tang-Clan. This got co-signed by Raekwon himself thus expanding his fan base even more. During his years in college he continued to hone his craft & began dropping random freestyles on Twitter & Instagram. One of his most notable rap videos caught the eye of Jhené Aiko
when he did a “Triggered” freestyle. He most recently dropped his Debut LP “Old Habits Die Hard” in 2021 & is continuing to move the needle with upcoming album “Leaves of a Late Bloomer” set to drop October 13th.
