James Beastly makes music that straddles the line between bittersweet indie rock and melodic post-punk. His music paints a playfully perverse yet intimately surreal world of widescreen grandeur, beauty and menace. Based in SF CA, he's toured throughout the US and CAN as the guitarist in Return to Mono and cut his teeth originally in the Santa Cruz pop punk band The Cast-Iron Canaries.
