James D is a self-made DJ and Music Producer from Washington, D.C., now based in Europe. In October 2019, he began his own Techno Event and Art Exposition program Nocturne Number, hosting parties at only premium underground venues with guest artists like Skober, Oscar Escapa, G8, and many more to come.
Coming from the D.C. Metro Area, a vast and rough city that had absolutely no techno clubs, and no electronic music scene till around 2013, it is an absolute miracle that this young, self-made producer found his passion as a basement vinyl DJ at the tender age of 16. By age 23, he began producing and taught himself the tools of the trade through books, practice, listening, and most of all, by following his undying passion for music, which had been burning in him since age 6.
Since early childhood, he feverishly listened to and absorbed multiple genres and in childhood played multiple instruments. At age 15 while visiting his family in Valencia, Spain in 2000, he became fascinated with the city's then thriving club scene infamously known as "la ruta del bacalao", which began his journey as a DJ with Hardcore Techno, Gabber, Hard Techno, Acid Techno, UK Hardhouse, Hard Trance and the underground genres of the early 2000s.
With all of the above-mentioned numbers in mind, only time will tell what great things this promising producer will bring to the scene in upcoming years -- patience and perseverance will make this not a question of "if", but "when".
