James Longcake is a Guitarist and Composer from the U.K. Releasing his first EP in 2024, James won support from BBC Introducing for his song ‘Painted Nails’ with the music video from the same song racking up over 100k views on YouTube.
His second EP ‘Fear of a Bleak Planet’ is due out in 2025 showcasing a darker selection of songs featuring the singles <a href="spotify:track:5pVQzrFyaw7i7fhCeZDNBt" data-name="Floradix">Floradix</a> and ‘Waterline’.
As well as working on solo music, James plays guitar in <a href="spotify:artist:11XoOV69FAqiQ6i3dp1usf" data-name="Qwak">Qwak</a> , I Can’t Believe it’s not Better, and mixes and produces for <a href="spotify:artist:6jRAZAbsH0mC643nhJRgfI" data-name="The Whitwhams">The Whitwhams</a>
His music for TV and film has been heard internationally with 2024 bringing a career highlight with a song featured on Bargain Hunt.
