James is a young guitarist from Dorset, England who is most at home on the acoustic guitar. Arranging popular songs for finger style guitar is something that James thrives upon alongside composing a steady stream of delicate and emotive guitar instrumentals. Colours of folk run through James’ work mixed with spoonfuls of Jazz creating a warm and open soundscape. Notable influences on his sound and technique have been guitar greats Chet Atkins and Django Reinhardt, and songwriters such as Don McLean, Jim Croce and John Denver.
Solo guitar is just one aspect of his career as he also loves performing with singers and is regular guitar player on the road for Internationally acclaimed songwriter Don Mescall and has enjoyed touring and recording on various projects over the last 2 years.
