Our new album 'Young Man' is out now.
We’re excited and proud to bring you our newest album, Young Man. Recorded in Fort Worth, Texas at Niles City Sound, this entire album was recorded live with Josh Block (engineer) at the desk, and Robert Ellis (producer) playing guitar in the room with us. We traded electric guitar for the fiddle (Ross Holmes) and the only instrument on the album you’ll hear coming through an amp is the pedal steel wizardry courtesy of Ross Holmes. You’ll recognize our longtime rhythm section as Ed Benrock (drums) and Nick Bearden (bass) are holding down all things groove.
Young Man was written during the first half of 2021, and many of these songs deal with the idea of growing older. Time seems to be marching to the beat of a drum that only plays faster with each passing measure. This record is about taking a minute to look back fondly at the road you’ve traveled thus far, as well as look ahead to the road you hope to take in the future.
