Jamie Finlay is a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, DJ and sound designer. His early releases on the Wah Wah 45s imprint incorporated jazz, soul, disco, spoken-word and broken beat and featured collaborations with vocalists, poets and musicians; including Deborah Jordan (4Hero, Bugz in The Attic), Andrew Colman (Colman Brothers/WahWah45s) and Dwayne Morgan (Up From The Roots). On forward thinking record labels such as Stilove4music and Development, Jamie explored deep-house and soul infused disco which featured remixes from the likes of Mr Scruff and Danny Ward (AKA Moodymanc).
Jamie has worked extensively in music and sound for games, immersive art and film. He recently won plaudits for his score of the award-winning short film “To Miss The Ending”. For which he received a prestigious Sundance/ASCAP Composer Spotlight in 2021.
