An expressive storyteller who weaves musical hints of the past into a contemporary dreamscape, singer-songwriter Jamie Lynn Noon releases her lead single, "Monochrome Hues," also the title track off her forthcoming album. Grounded in organic pop instrumentation with echoing guitars and emotive piano, elegantly intertwined with ethereal synth-laden sounds, Noon again strikes a beautiful harmony between looking backward and looking forward, nostalgia and progression, with thought-provoking lyricism stating, "And I looked to the sky, and I asked you to wipe / These tears from my eyes, I'm so happy, I cried / Streams of color, weaves of wonder, and bright lights."
Having accumulated numerous tv/film credits—including ABC's The Secret Life of the American Teenager ("'Til Ya Make It") and All My Children ("To Finally"), CBS's The Young and the Restless ("To Finally"), and Lifetime TV's Dance Moms ("Going, Going, Gone," "I'm Trying" and "(Over and Over) and Over Again"—Noon has also contributed to charitable albums, including Abrazos 2009 and Abrazos 2016 artist compilation ("'Til Ya Make It"), and the Firework 2013 compilation ("Angels Spoke").
Monochrome Hues follows the 2022 release of her dreamy reflective record Begin Again, and the 2024 cover of Alphaville's 1980s classic "Forever Young." She has also released three EPs (A Moment to Break, Angels Spoke, and Closer) along with multiple singles (including her popular REM cover, "Everybody Hurts").
