Jamie releases music on [Emotional] Especial, Hoga Nord, Multi Culti and ESP Institute, having previously released on DFA, Dissident and The Walls Have Ears. He is also one half of Cage & Aviary, who have released several 12s and remixes, including Television Train on DFA, plus their first album 'Migration' in 2012, released on Prins Thomas’ Internasjonal label.
He released the 'Bizarre Feeling' EP on Emotional Especial in late 2013. People liked it a lot; DJs played it, Tom Ravenscroft featured it on BBC 6 Music, DJ Magazine gave it single of the month. Someone paid €50 for a copy of it on white label. His remix of 'Sofa Love' by Maurice & Charles opened the Fabriclive Mix by Erol Alkan. He also mixed and dubbed-out the Emotional Especial compilation, celebrating the first 9 releases on the label.
He co-hosts the Methods of Dance radio show bi-monthly with his brother Chris, squeezing every ounce of cosmic sludge from the leftfield end of the dancefloor.
He is also one half of MƐTƏL, a live improvised modular synth jam , in the company of Mike Bourne from Teeth of the Sea. Their first release is forthcoming on the E.S.P. Institute label. Jamie also plays solo live shows in the same vein.
When djing, he will join the dots between Acid House, Cosmic Disco, New Wave, Techno, and any other form of Body Music he feels like playing that night.
